A.D Rattray Cask Speyside is a single malt whisky from Scotland. It is produced in the Speyside region, in the north of the country, and is a combination of fine whisky with an attractive, medium-bodied flavour and aroma.
Aged between 12-18 Years, A.D Rattray Cask Speyside is sourced from a number of distilleries in the region, including Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Speyburn. It is matured in a variety of barrels and oak casks, including ex-sherry, bourbon, and wine casks, as well as seasoned oak. The whisky is then finished in a blend of ex-bourbon casks for a smooth flavor that is sure to please lovers of single malt whisky.
The result of the process is a light, golden-colored whisky with a soft and fruity nose. On the palate, it offers a smooth, creamy texture with sweet citrus and mellow barley notes. The finish is mellow and characteristic of the Speyside character.
