Alamos Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and full-bodied red wine. It is made from the prestigious grapes of the Mendoza Valley in Argentina. The wine has aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, and blackberry, as well as hints of licorice, smoky oak, and sweet tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and ripe red fruits, such as raspberry, plum, and cherry, as well as a hint of black pepper and hints of sweet caramel and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of graphite and roasted coffee.
Alamos Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with bold meats and hard cheeses. Because of its tannic structure, it also pairs nicely with heavily herbal dishes, such as roasted vegetables and mushrooms.
