Angostura 7 Year Old Rum

Angostura 7 Year Old Rum is a premium-aged spirit from the house of Angostura, one of the world’s leading producers of rum. This rum has been aged for a minimum of 7 years in thousand litre oak and is blended with a selection of hand-picked rums to create a superior spirit. Its aroma is very complex and is described as having notes of prunes, wood, toffee and dark chocolate. Its flavour is rich and sweet, offering notes of molasses, toffee, oak and spices. It has a dry and well-rounded finish that lingers in the palate.

This rum is handcrafted in Angostura's state of the art distillery using traditional techniques and time-honored procedures to bring out the best flavors. It provides a perfect marriage of technique and character that is uniquely Angostura. This aged rum is pure and smooth on the palate and best served neat or on the rocks. It is often used in cocktails such as mojitos, mai tais, daiquiris and punch as well as in the classic Caribbean ‘strongback’.
