Barrell Craft Bourbon Batch 30 is an exquisite small-batch bourbon whiskey crafted by Master Blender Joe Beatrice. With an original mash bill of 64% corn, 32% rye, and 4% malted barley, the complexity of this singularly-made craft bourbon is something to be savored. The result of two years of experimentation, Barrel Craft Bourbon Batch 30 is one of the finest expressions of the craft. The aging process begins in American white oak barrels that have been charred to perfection, giving the bourbon a signature flavor. In the barrel, it is aged a minimum of four years and is reduced to varying degrees of proofs, from 86 to 108. The resultant hooch is smooth and full-bodied with notes of ripe fruits, spices, and rich toffee. You can taste the malted barley, ripe sweet red pepper notes, and hints of clove and nutmeg. As it opens up in the glass, the aromas become increasingly complex, with layers of caramel and vanilla coming through.
