Benriach Mälting Season Batch 1 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. It is made using specially selected high-quality malted barley, water from the nearby Elchies burn, and Speyside’s signature peat. Batch 1 was aged in Octomore 10.2 casks and is bottled at cask strength with no chill filtering. This unique whisky has a deep golden-amber color and aromas of honey and candied citrus with a hint of smoky peat. On the palate, it's full-bodied and slightly oily with flavors of sweet spices, toasted oak, and a slightly salty finish.
