Benromach 15 Years Old is part of the core range of single malt whisky from Benromach Distillery in Ferniegair, Scotland. This whisky is a combination of between 80 and 90% sherry casks and 10 to 20% bourbon casks, then married for 6 months in a hogshead.
Color: Light amber
Nose: Soft fruit, gentle spice and a hint of leather
Taste: Toasted malt, honey, cinnamon and ripe apples
Finish: Creamy smoke, dark chocolate and a hint of spice
Benromach 15 Years Old is a rich, flavorful dram that’s full of character and complexity. It is smooth and creamy, with a bold presence that led it to win a Silver Award at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2015. This whisky is best enjoyed neat, but can also be a great choice for a single malt cocktail.
