Blackadder Chimera Blended Malt Whisky is an innovative blended malt whisky developed by the independent bottler Blackadder. This special whisky is a true work of art, combining single malt whiskys from nine different distilleries in Scotland. The blend has been aged in three different types of casks - first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon and refill hogsheads. The blend is then finished off with a final maturation in Jamaican rum casks. This whisky is characterised by a mellow and sweet nose, with notes of honey, toffee, tobacco and oak. On the palate, the whisky is smooth and full-bodied, with underlying notes of chocolate, toffee, smoky oak and spices. The whisky has a lingering finish of dark fruit, toffee and oak.
