We decided to bottle it together with a dear friend to whom I owe a lot both professionally and personally, Igor Kossov of Heads & Tails, Canada, already an importer of Valinch & Mallet since 2015 but above all the person with whom I made my first trip to Cognac to discover these products getting to know Pieter Knapen (founder and owner of Malternatives-Belgium).

Without him, I think things would have gone a lot differently.

Of the 42 bottles produced by demi-jeanne, 24 are customized for the Canadian market, and 18 for the Italian market, a collaboration that I am sure will bear new fruit in the future. " (David Romano)

It’s a complex and soft, silky cognac. Time in glass doesn’t stop ripening completely, it makes it different, it gives what enthusiasts call the “Old Bottling Effect”, and so it is, an almost buttery, floral nose with lychee and acacia honey, an almost mineral note to testify to the past time.
