Côte des Roses Blanc is a French white wine produced by the winery Château de Seguin at Bordeaux in France. It is made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes grown on limestone soils in the vineyard of Seguin. The wine is light, fresh, and aromatic, with a nose of lemon, melon, and grapefruit. On the palate, it has a crisp acidity that carries flavors of grapefruit, green apple, green melon, and a hint of minerals. The wine is pale straw yellow in color with aromas of green apple, citrus zest and lemon. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth with a tasty acidity that brings out the flavors of lemon, green melon, minerals, and spice. On the finish, there is a subtle sweetness with notes of vanilla and honey. This is a great everyday drinking white wine, well-suited for fish, shellfish, salads, and lighter poultry dishes.
