Dalmore 18 Year Old- 700ml

Dalmore 18 Year Old is a complex single malt whiskey from the Dalmore Distillery in Scotland. It is created by aging it in a combination of vintage Matusalem oloroso sherry, Amoroso sherry and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. This gives this malt whiskey a complex and intense flavor, full of dried fruit, sweet spices and rich chocolate. It is also unique as a single malt light whiskey, as it has been finished in sherry casks. The aroma is full of dried fruit, toffee apples and a hint of salty peat smoke. On the palate it is intense with notes of sweet toffee, pineapple, sultanas and hints of dark chocolate. The finish is smooth and long, with a nice lingering of notes of nuts and wood spices. This 18 year old malt whiskey has won multiple awards, including the Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2018 and the Gold Outstanding Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2019. This makes it a very special sipping whiskey for any occasion.
