Dewar’s 18 Year Old Signature Scotch Whisky is a luxurious and smooth Scotch with a flavor full of richness and depth. It is produced using an innovative double aging technique, involving over 18 years of maturing and maturation in oak casks. First, the whisky is aged for 15 years in oak barrels that had previously held Sherry, before being transferred to barrels that had formerly held Bourbon, for a further 3 years of maturing. This gives the whisky a complex and intense character with a deep, sweet, creamy, oakiness, and notes of honey, almonds, and spices. The whisky is bottled at 40% ABV and has an aroma of light toffee, custard, oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and smooth, with a subtle sweetness accompanied by notes of honey, sherry, and spice. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of almond, vanilla, and oak.
