DOS Puentes Estate Malbec is a high-quality Argentinian red wine. The wine is produced by Winery del Puente, located in the province of Mendoza, in the heart of the wine-producing land of Argentina. The wine is made from 100% Malbec grapes that have been hand-harvested from the estate's vineyards situated at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and also undergoes 12 months of bottle aging prior to its release. The nose of DOS Puentes Estate Malbec has prominent notes of ripe dark fruit such as blackberry and plum, followed by subtle spices and nuances of smoke and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a powerful tannic structure yet with underlying softness. It has flavors of ripe red and black fruits, along with intense notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee. The finish is long with lingering hints of smoke and sweet spices.
