The Drouhin Chablis Vaudon is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the famous Chablis AOC in northern Burgundy, France. The wine has a bright golden-green hue, with floral and citrus aromas. When tasted, the palate is filled with flavors of vibrant fruits, creamy almonds, and crisp minerality. The acidity is balanced and present, with a long finish. In the glass, the Drouhin Chablis Vaudon shows a pale yellow color with green tints. On the nose, the aromas are of white peach and dried apricots, as well as lemon and citrus blossoms. To taste, the minerality of the soil comes into play along with citrus flavours and a creamy texture, with a slight hint of flint on the finish. For optimal enjoyment, this Chablis should be served slightly chilled, and may be paired with white fish dishes and summer salads. It will keep for up to five years, improving in complexity as it ages.
