Dutch Nation Beer is a relatively new beer that was released in the United States in 2019. This beer was made by The Flying Dutchman Brewing Company, based in Holland, Michigan. Dutch Nation Beer has been crafted to be clean and crisp, with a light malt flavor and subtle hop bitterness. It is a great beer to enjoy in social settings and pairs perfectly with a wide variety of food, especially dishes that include ingredients with Dutch heritage. Dutch Nation Beer has an ABV of 6.7%, making it a bit higher than some traditional beers, but still easy to drink in social settings. In addition to having a refreshing taste, Dutch Nation Beer also has a great story. The name comes from the centuries-old ties between Holland, Michigan and the Netherlands. In 1847, a group of Dutch immigrants founded the town of Holland, making it the first Dutch settlement in the United States. To celebrate the centennial anniversary of this momentous occasion, the Flying Dutchman Brewing Company created a beer to honor the Dutch who planted the roots of their community so long ago.
