Espron Tequila Reposado is an outstanding spirit made from 100% blue agave in the highlands of Jalisco. It is made using a unique blend of two time-honeted tequila-making traditions: the traditional copper pot still process, which has been used in Mexico for centuries, and the modern Enderloo process, which creates a clean and flavorful tequila that offers a unique mix of taste, aroma, and character. Espron Tequila Reposado is aged in oak barrels for an average of eight months. This aging process mellows the initial spicy flavors and creates complex notes of smoke, caramel, fruit, and oak. The taste has a smooth and mild sweetness, with a hint of citrus, and a smooth finish. The aroma is predominantly floral, with hints of spice, herbs, and oak. Espron Tequila Reposado sips nicely on its own, in classic tequila recipes, or as an ingredient in other cocktails.
