Flying Dutchman Rum Port Cask 3YO is a super premium dark rum. It is distilled from 100% pure Virgin Island Molasses and triple distilled to create a flavoursome and smooth character. The rum is then transferred into used Portuguese Port Wine casks to mature for three years. The time spent in these barrels produces a rich, dark and oaky flavour. On the nose Flying Dutchman Rum Port Cask 3YO has alluring aromas of raisins, fresh figs, dark toasted oak, dark chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla, toffee and a hint of cocoa. On the palate, the rum is full-bodied and rich with flavours of toffee, dark fruits, coffee, dark chocolate, anniseed, oak, and burnt sugar.
