Glen Scotia Victorian Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a pure, single malt Scotch whisky from Campbeltown, a region of Scotland located on the rugged Kintyre peninsula. It is made in the traditional Campbeltown style and crafted from the finest ingredients available. The whisky is matured for an extended period in a combination of refill American oak and Spanish oak ex-oloroso Sherry casks. The result is a deep, complex, and rich single-malt spirit with hints of dried fruit, raisins, cloves and toffee. The expression takes its name from the Victorian era in Scotland, when the town of Campbeltown was a hub for distilled spirits in the country. Although the whisky does not contain any actual age statement, some speculate that it must come from casks around 25 years old. This is because the release of the Victorian Single Malt was only available in limited batches and was aged in a combination of refill American Oak and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks.
