Distilled from a blend of locally sourced grain, this whiskey is aged in two separate oak barrels, giving it a unique, complex flavor profile. It's double-barrelled and triple-distilled, giving it a smooth finish with subtle aromas of toasted oak and notes of toasted nuts. Glendalough Double Barrel Whiskey is created from a combination of grains including oats, malted barley, wheat, and rye. The grain is then mashed and distilled twice in copper pot stills before being matured in two different barrels - a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel and an ex-sherry butt.
