Guy Saget is a winery in France that produces Muscadet Sèvre et Maine wines. The winery was founded in the 1950s by Bernard Saget and is still owned and managed by the Saget family today. The winemaking is overseen by Philippe Saget, the third generation of the family. The winery produces Muscadet wines from seven different grape varieties from 35 vineyard sites, of which the oldest dates back to 1759. The wines are produced in small batches, with the winemaking team focusing on quality over quantity. The winery produces a range of wines from the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, from dry to medium sweet wines. The vineyards are located in the Loire Valley, a region known for its cool climate and ideal soil to produce expressive, vibrant whites. The soils are mainly composed of clay-limestone, which give the wines their rich and intense flavors.
