Havana Club Añejo Reserva is an ultra-premium rum made from aged Cuban sugar cane that is distilled in the historic Cuban rum-making town of San Jose de las Lajas. With a flavor experiencing said to rival whisky and cognac, Havana Club Añejo Reserva is considered the finest example of Cuban rum. This rewarding blend is distilled using a traditional process known as “double aging” in which they carefully age their rum in both white and charred oak barrels. Once the rum is ready, it is blended into a unique mix of double-distilled aged Cuban rum. Havana Club Añejo Reserva is a perfect sipping rum. The flavors are complex and often compared to whisky or cognac. It has strong notes of oak, honey, vanilla, caramel, and earthy spices, as well as aromas of tropical fruits and nuts.
