Hendrick's Gin is a brand of gin produced by William Grant & Sons in Ayrshire, Scotland. The most notable difference between Hendrick's and other gins is its infusion of rose and cucumber. The gin is distilled in Ayrshire, Scotland, and is made with a blend of 11 botanicals, including juniper, coriander, yarrow, chamomile, elderflower, angelica root, cubeb berries, and caraway seed, as well as the rose and the cucumber. Hendrick's is distilled in Carter-Head stills, a type of still that includes a special cucumber-laden basket in its condensation chamber. This basket imparts the distinctive flavor of the cucumber to the gin. The gin is bottled at 41.4% ABV. Hendrick's is considered to be a premium gin, and is often compared to other popular gins such as Tanqueray and Bombay Sapphire. However, its unique flavors make it stand out from other gins. It has been praised for its light body, which makes it very mixable and easy to drink.
