Hepburn's Choice Craigellachie Wine 11yo is a limited edition whisky from the renowned Craigellachie Distillery. Founded in 1891, the distillery is renowned for producing some of the finest single malt Scotch whiskies in the world. Located in the Speyside region of Scotland, the distillery is well-known for its intense and robust flavoured whiskies. As part of its limited edition series, the Craigellachie Distillery released this 11 year old single malt scotch whisky in a cask strength of a whopping 56.4%. This complex and mellow whisky has been crafted from a blend of malt whiskies from five Speyside distilleries. With age comes balance and this malt whisky exemplifies that perfectly with its robust yet smooth and mellow taste. On the nose, notes of dark honey, spices, and toasted wood are apparent with zesty hints of citrus and fruit lingering in the background. On the palate, a delicious combination of rich honey, malt, and sweet spices lingers satisfyingly with ripe heather and delicate floral notes lingering in the finish.
