Highland Park 10 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary Highland Park distillery. Established in 1798, the distillery is situated in Orkney, one of Scotland’s northernmost isles. The whisky produced there is renowned for its distinctive smoky flavor, which is the result of over 200 years of traditional whisky-making and maturation techniques. Highland Park 10 Year Old is the distillery’s entry-level single malt. It is made using the Highland Park’s traditional triple distillation process, which results in a smooth and mellow taste. After triple distillation, the whisky has been matured in a combination of both European and American oak barrels for at least 10 years. This whisky has been widely praised for its balance of fruity and smoky notes, which include dried fruits, heather honey, and smoke. The whisky's flavor profile is dominated by a smoky peat note, followed by spicy and sweet malt, caramel and toffee. Finish has hints of citrus and tobacco.
