Details:
Built in 1897 during the 60th year of Queen Victoria's reign, Speyburn distillery is one of the most classic of Speyside, located in Rothes, Banffshire right on the banks of the River Spey. The distillery is also said to be known for being the most photographed in the world, or so we are told, while its products are always smooth and fruity, exactly as the hallmark of this region.
The Speyburn 15 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 15 years in a mix of American ex-bourbon and European ex-sherry oak casks, this mix has added a good complexity to this whisky which has been bottled at a classic 46% abv.
